DMpro alternative: does Xsender cost less, and can 250 DMs a day fit X's caps?

DMpro finds leads and runs follow-ups from the cloud, with cookies you export. Xsender sends from your own Chrome. Prices at 1 to 20 accounts and X's caps.

Xsender costs less at both sizes DMpro lists: $59 against $97 for one account, and $94 against $148 for two. DMpro does more for the money. It finds leads, runs branching follow-ups and keeps sending with your computer off. In return, you export your X cookies into it, and its 250 DMs a day run into X's cap of 35 first messages on Premium.

This page comes from the people who make Xsender, so treat our column as the seller's view. On 5 October 2026 we read DMpro's pricing page, FAQ, quick start guide and automation page, with billing set to monthly.

DMpro vs Xsender side by side

Read the top two rows first, because they decide more than the features below them. DMpro wins most of those features:

What each costs at your account count

Prices are monthly, read on DMpro's pricing page and ours on 5 October 2026, sorted by account count. DMpro lists plans for 1 and 2 accounts, then quotes a custom Agency price:

X accountsDMproXsender
1$97.$59.
2$148.$94.
3Custom.$124.
10Custom.$264.
20Custom.$400.

Paid yearly, DMpro drops to $73 and $111 a month, which is still above our monthly price. Its lead credits top up at $10 for 100 or $29 for 400. If you need leads found, add what you would otherwise pay for a list to our column before you compare.

How each one gets into your X account

DMpro's own pages describe the sign-in two ways. Its FAQ says "Your password is never stored on our servers" and that you "authorize DMpro through Twitter's secure system". Its quick start guide is more concrete: install a Chrome add-on called Cookie Editor, export your X cookies as JSON, and paste them into DMpro.

Both can be true at once, because a cookie is not a password. But the cookie is what keeps you signed in, so DMpro's servers can send as you until that session ends.

With Xsender there is nothing to export. You sign in to X yourself, and the session stays in your Chrome. Campaigns and lead lists do sit on our servers, and every account on one computer shares its internet address. What each sign-in method risks covers the trade.

Can DMpro send 250 DMs a day?

Only if most of them go to followers or open chats. DMpro's pricing page says "250 quality touches/day beats 450 ignored DMs every time", and its FAQ promises 400 or more a day on Pro. X caps first messages to strangers far lower, whatever the tool:

For cold outreach on Premium, plan on 35 a day per account. In our 30 account study, all 23 Premium accounts that stopped at exactly 35 got error 226 on the next try. DMpro's automation page also claims a "25-40% Response rate"; across all our campaigns from 23 August to 22 September 2026, the average was 1.2%.

X's rules say "You may not send unsolicited Direct Messages in a bulk or automated manner", and that covers both tools. From 2 July to 5 October 2026, none of the 46 X accounts Xsender ran was suspended. 9 had a temporary phone or puzzle check. That is a record, not a promise. Our Refund Policy adds that if X suspends an account we run, "The charge for that month is refunded in full".

Who each one suits

DMpro suits you if:

  • You want leads found, branching follow-ups or AI personalisation.
  • No computer can stay on for you.
  • You are happy to export your X cookies into a cloud tool.

Xsender suits you if:

  • You run 1 or 2 accounts and want the lower price, $59 or $94, or up to 20 at a listed price.
  • You will not paste your X cookies anywhere.
  • You already have a list, and a computer can stay on with Chrome open.

Moving from DMpro

Most of switching is cleaning the lead list:

  1. Download your leads from DMpro and cut everyone it already messaged, because we cannot see its history.
  2. Delete your accounts in DMpro, then end your other X sessions in X's security settings. That makes the exported cookie useless.
  3. Add our Chrome extension, one Chrome profile per X account, and upload the list.

FAQ

Is DMpro cheaper than Xsender?

No. One account costs $97 on DMpro against $59 on Xsender, and two cost $148 against $94. Above two accounts, DMpro quotes a custom price.

Does DMpro need my X password?

No. DMpro takes your X cookies instead, exported with a Chrome add-on, and those let its servers send as you. Xsender asks for neither.

Does DMpro keep sending when my computer is off?

Yes. DMpro's automation page says campaigns "run around the clock". Xsender stops when Chrome closes.
